FuturePrint Strengthens Women’s Presence in Business with Content, Inspiration, and Real Opportunities

With more than 20 women featured in the program, the event highlights female leadership through panels, hands-on experiences, networking, and solutions for those who want to start a business with creativity and purpose

FuturePrint celebrates its 35th anniversary by reaffirming its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusion in the visual communication and digital printing sectors. From July 16 to 19, at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, female leadership will be one of the key highlights of the event, with more than 20 women leading talks, panels, workshops, and experiences focused on creative and transformative entrepreneurship.

The presence of women in business is a growing reality. According to data from Sebrae, Brazil already has over 10.3 million women entrepreneurs, representing around 34% of all business owners in the country. The special programming includes practical and inspiring content, real networking opportunities, and tools and solutions aimed at the growth of women-led businesses — all within an environment that values diversity and drives transformation.

“Female leadership has been shaping new paths in visual communication and the textile industry. Our mission is to create space for these leaders and provide an environment where women can learn, exchange experiences, and grow together,” says Yeda Monteiro, Business Manager at FuturePrint.

At the FuturePrint Forum, names such as Sylvia Gusmão (Grupo DG7), Roberta Rocha (Formas), Paolla Crestani (ABCV and CV Unida), Luana Dias (FDG), and Laisla Lopes (aSuper Arts) share their journeys and strategies for growing businesses in creative, human, and sustainable ways. From talent management to emotional communication with female audiences, the content directly addresses those looking to launch or refine their market presence.

At Talks FutureTêxtil, women continue to take center stage, with Carla Mager, Ana Di Bartolomeo, Camilla Borelli, Sarah Caldas, Eliandra Sabino, Mila Sanchez, Janaina Zermiani, Ji Ae Um, and Loretta Pettinati discussing themes such as leadership, artificial intelligence, sustainability, creativity, and building purpose-driven brands — in a series of conversations that combine sensitivity, technique, and future vision.

The Ambassadors' Lounge will also feature strong female representation, including Poli Freire, Mayara Calderone, Mila Sanchez, Janaina Zermiani, and Luana Dias. This space will serve as a gathering point for meaningful exchanges, strengthening networks, and sharing experiences among professionals in the field.

In addition, the (RE) ESTAMPA 2025 project highlights the role of women in sustainable fashion. Just like in the previous edition, designer Rita Comparato will guide students through a creative process focused on textile waste reuse. The initiative will culminate in a fashion show at the Focus Fashion Summit, showcasing original pieces made from over 800 kg of reused fabrics.

Women looking to start or grow their own business will also find financial support at the event. The Credit Room offers accessible loan and financing options, along with expert financial guidance. At the last edition, the initiative supported 125 small entrepreneurs — many of them women seeking financial autonomy — and generated R$9.5 million in loan and financing proposals. Participating institutions this year include Sicoob, Sofisa, Caixa Econômica Federal, and Desenvolve SP, with support from FIESP, ABIGRAF, SEBRAE, and SENAI.

Commitment to Sustainability

Organized by Informa Markets, FuturePrint reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and, in 2025, expands its environmental responsibility goals through a range of concrete actions. These include: the reuse of over 80% of the carpets used in the show’s setup; exclusive use of LED lighting in official booths; encouragement for exhibitors to adopt sustainable structures; the installation of multiple recycling points throughout the venue; and ongoing support for the social project “Quebrada Alimentada”, by Mocotó restaurant, which provides meals to vulnerable families in São Paulo’s North Zone.
