NEW ECONOMIC MEASURES IN BRAZIL PROMISE TO RESUME THE ECONOMY AND PROMOTE THE LATIN AMERICAN MARKET

Trade Fairs are the best opportunity to enter the market and approach investors in the country, whomust make investments to modernize the machines and meet the expected demands for the coming years.

Brazil has returned to the agenda of international investors. A series of measures implemented by the new government, which took office in January 2019, promises to inject resources into the economy and boost economic recovery in Latin America.

The main measure expected by employers is the approval of the Social Security Reform. The last phase of the vote should take place in October and the estimate is that the proposal should generate savings of $900 billion over the next ten years.

Another measure that promises to resume the spirit of investors is the Tax Reform. The government is considering measures to review the rates of income tax and the creation of a single tax on consumption and services. Entrepreneurs look forward to the proposal with the hope of reducing bureaucracy and making financial transactions more transparent.

With the resumption of the Brazilian economy, entrepreneurs promise to invest again and should look for technologies that allow the modernization of their machinery and equipment to keep up with the international market. This movement was felt at fairs held in 2019 by the largest promoter of business events in the world, Informa Markets. "FuturePrint, Plastic Brazil, Expomafe and Agrishow exhibited significant growth in the number of visitors and exhibitors were unanimous in stating that entrepreneurs visited the fairs in search of new technologies and were interested in investing," says Liliane Bortoluci, director of the portfolio of industrial fairs of Informa Markets Brasil.

And it is already preparing to receive more than 40 thousand visitors from printing agencies, advertising agencies, textile printing, screen printing establishments, raffles, among others.

With the anticipation of the resumption of investments in the country, the exhibitors of the event are organized to meet the demand that must be generated during the four days of the fair and await the new economic measures. This positive positioning is reinforced by the fact that 75% of FuturePrint spaces are already for sale. “Our next edition is even bigger. We will have 30,000 square meters of exhibition, 20% more than the previous edition, and the commercialization of the spaces has exceeded all our expectations.
